Lying west of Benalmadena Costa about 2km inland, Torrequebrada Golf is a 18hole, par 72 course designed by Malaga’s favorite designer Pepe Gancedo and opened in 1976. Its beautiful design and layout earned it the honor of hosting the Spanish Open three years later as well as several other top championships in more recent years.

 

It is a very popular if somewhat technically challenging course with steep terrain, and sand and water hazards providing the player with many varied and interesting obstacles. Complimented by its magnificent views of the Mediterranean, this veritable oasis is home to over 100 species of native and tropical trees inhabited by a rich variety of bird life.
